TipType presents an innovative keyboard solution for iPhone and iPad users, focusing on enhanced typing accuracy.

The design features oversized keys that facilitate more precise input. The key functionality is based on a sliding motion rather than traditional pressing, allowing for a fluid typing experience. Each of the nine primary keys can yield up to five characters, contingent upon the finger's movement across the key.

Users can slide in various directions—left, up, right, or down—to select the desired character. A simple tap on any of the nine keys generates a space, streamlining the typing process and eliminating the need to reach for the space bar. For optimal speed, it is advised to tap near the endpoint of each word.

The layout maintains the familiar QWERTY format, which may require a brief adjustment period. However, many users anticipate improved typing speed and reduced errors within approximately two weeks.

The three keys located in the far right column serve as Function Keys, employing both sliding and pressing mechanics. The Delete key operates by deleting when pressed and maneuvering the cursor when slid in any direction, akin to arrow keys on a computer keyboard.

The Alternate Keyboards key enables users to access characters not present on the main keyboard. Sliding left reveals numbers and additional symbols, upward yields capital letters, right provides international characters, downward reverts to lowercase, and pressing activates CAPS lock.

Finally, pressing the Enter key executes a line break, while sliding right opens an emoticon keyboard, enriching communication options.
